Creative Cushions!!!

Hi,
Hope you're having a nice weekend so far. Today I've been making some cushions to go on our sofa and chairs outside in the garden. I made them out of a piece of curtain my mum bought for a bargain £5. For the small cushion I found some left over backing that we had used for another cushion and I added some small pink pom-poms (this was a bit fiddly). For the two big cushions, I used some pretty pink spotty fabric. I still have one small cushion to make but that's for another day!
Have a great weekend.

Cute cabled pull-over!

Hi!!
For the past two days I have been knitting a really cute pullover for a really cute little boy who has just turned one. I have got halfway through the back section and it is already starting to look really cute! If I keep up the the speed I could get the whole thing done in two weeks. When I looked at the pattern I thought that it might have to be a christmas present but it is going really well. Really hope you like the look of it. Enjoy the nice weather!!

beautiful bunting

hi,
This is a post that I meant to post ages

As an end of term present for one of my teachers this year,  I made some bunting out of some colourful Cath Kidson fabric and some striped ribbon instead of the usual bias binding. We went to a sewing shop called Beyond Fabrics in Colombia flower market where I bought the ribbon, and they where selling their own bunting which had ribbon on so thats where we got the idea. The shop owner told us  that putting ribbon on was much easier than putting bias binding on but it wasn't !!! (it took double the time than it normally would) My teacher loved it though and is going to hang it up in her class next year ( And it looked really pretty with ribbon on!)

Have a great week

Cosy cushions!

Hi!
I have been very busy knitting some beautiful cushions with the best rowan book ever, winter warmers. It has loads of really easy patterns in it hat look really effective. I have been making moss stitch heart cushions, one for my form teacher as an end of year present and one for my godmother's birthday. This cushion is called a moss stitch cushion because the heart inside the border is knitted in moss stitch.. It is knitted in alpaca chunky. It only uses over half a ball, so still have tons of the second ball left. Any ideas what i could do with it??
I forgot to take a picture because I gave them away but my godmother has promised she will send a picture so will update you as soon as I get the pictures, I have got a picture of the wool for the moment though. Have a nice summer!
Bye!
